Warm Wishes- mixed media card for Christmas

 Hello and happy Tuesday! How is your Christmas cards production going? Well- embarassing to say about my situation, I should really keep going fast! My today’s card is showcasing some of Prima’s new PinWheel stencils and my msot beloved Color Bloom Sprays!

I used sprays and stencils to create some interesting layers on the background of my card.

Uzylam sprayi i szablonow aby dodac swojej kartce nieco warstw i uczynic tlo bardziej interesujacym.

I love how the colors of these sprays shine with the light- they are just gorgeous and perfect for holiday crafting!

Strasznie podoba mi sie to jak mocno primowe spraye mienia sie przy najmniejszym zlapaniu swiatla- cudowny efekt na swiatecznych pracach!

I was building layers of paper and binding them with layers of spray. Thanks to this trick the card is super shiny and dimensional- I love the effect!

Warstwy z papieru polaczylam niejako warstwami z rozpryskiwanej farby. Dzieki temu kartka jest nie tylko super blyszczaca, ale tez w pewnym sensie przestrzenna- uwielbiam ten efekt!

I finished my project with some stamps, flowers, chipboards and brads. The background like this doesn’t need much on top :)

Do wykonczenia projektu uzylam stempli, kwiatkow, tekturowych naklejek i bradsow. Nie potrzebowalam zbyt wiele, w koncu chcialam aby to tlo gralo pierwsze skrzypce!

I love all the layers of paper, paint, stamps and die cuts and it was so much fun to put it all together!

Co podoba mi sie w tej pracy najbardziej- spojnie polaczone warstwy, wycinane dodatki- naprawde swietnie bawilam sie przy tej pracy :)

Now I just need to make some time to write and send my card! I think next cards I’ll make will be much easier, but I love the layers of this one!

Teraz potrzeba mi tylko chwili z kubkiem goracej czekolady na wypisanie i wyslanie tej kartki! Cos mi sie wydaje, ze moje kolejne prace powinny byc duzo prostsze jesli mam sie wyronic z nimi przed swietami, ale co tam- te kartke uwielbiam :)

Mother’s Day! Dzien Mamy!

Hi! In Poland Mother’s Day happens every time on the same date- 26.05- so yes, it’s today! I haven’t been able to celebrate Mother’s Day with my Mom for many years now, but still I want to make sure she knows that we think and remember about her on this special day! This year I prepared a small card for this occassion with lots of Prima goodies!

Hej kochani! Wszystkiego najlepszego z okazji Dnia Mamy dla wszystkich Mam- a w szczegolnosci dla tej jedynej, specjalnej i wyjatkowej czyli mojego wlasnego, prywatnego Mutka :) Kartka dla Mamy na Dzien Mamy przygotowana na calej masie nowosci z Primy co by tydzien zaczac kolorowo! 

 

Happy Mother’s Day to all Mums out there! Everyday is great to celebrate and this occassion is so special! Have a wonderful day and great week!

Easter cards

Just a quick note today because I seriously have a big, big issue with time these days… I don’t know when and how it passes, in the meantime- I enjoy myself so much :) it’s spring, I have good time with my parents and Easter is coming! I just want to show you 2 Easter cards I’ve made with Lemon Owl products a while ago :

 

They are cute and didn’t take much time to prepare.. you know it’s a shame to say but I haven’t made much more for this Easter.. well I focus on spending time with my family instead :) and it feels good!

SEASHORE lighthouse card

I was in love when I saw the new line from Prima- SEASHORE– it’s all about the sea, but don’t think it’ll take you to the warm, exotic waters. It reminds me more of the sea from my childhood memories- cold and rough like Baltic Sea! When I looked through the items and saw the stamp with a lighthouse I immediately knew that I’d love to use it on my card!

Gdy po raz pierwszy zobaczylam SEASHORE – nowa kolekcje Primy zakochalam sie! Niesamowicie przypomina mi klimat wakacji spedzanych nad morzem, ale nie nad jakimkolwiek cieplym egzotycznym morzem tylko nad naszym wiecznie wzburzonym i kotlujacym sie Baltykiem!  A gdy w moje rece wpadl stempel z niesamowita latarnia morska wiedzialam na 100% ze wyladuje on na mojej pracy!

I cut the fun shape of the card with my cameo- it feels fresh and I really felt inspired while working with it. Once again- change is good!

Wymyslilam sobie, ze aby troche poruszyc kreatywne nuty zmienie ksztalt kartki. Ten fikusny wycielam za pomoca cameo i pracowalo mi sie z nim swietnie! Po raz kolejny- mala zmiana dziala cuda!

3rd Eye projects

It’s been a while since I played with paints and some medias which I keep on my desk but finally I felt the right time has arrived!:) So I’ve been painting and playing with colours a bit recently (maybe inspired by Fab’s creations…!) and today I can show you results of it on 2 projects prepared for a Polish brand 3rd Eye Crafts which I’m designing for this month :)
Minela spora chwila od momentu gdy ostatnio bawilam sie z farbami ale wreszcie cos mnie tknelo i zlapalam kilka z tych, ktore stoja w zasiegu reki. Nie wiem, moze zainspirowaly mnie ostatnie tworcze wyczyny Faba :) Dzis mam do pokazania 2 projekty przygotowane dla naszej rodzimej marki 3rd Eye :)

First comes the happy painted card! It makes me think it’s also been a while since I made a card… well ;) I might need to get back to practice but speaking of card- I still like it :) You can check the products I used here!
Na poczatek idzie wesola, zmalowana kartka.. hm minela tez spora chwila odkad ostatnio kartkowalam, coz… :) potrzebuje troche sie rozruszac w tym temacie ale kartka nie jest zla :) Liste uzytych produktow znajdziecie tutaj!

the second project I have for you is an art journal page. You know I said I’d document my One Little Word in art journal form to get some motivation to create in my journal so here comes the February page :) I had fun playing with it (and while the layers of wet media were drying I could clean my scraproom a bit so it’s a double win!). Drugi projekt to wpis do mojego art journal. Wspominalam, ze chcialabym swore wrazenia zwiazane z One Little World uwieczniac w tej formie i ponizszy wpis podsumowuje w kilku slouch luty. Fajnie bylo znowu pomazac gessem (a w czasie gdzy czekalam az poszczegolne warstwy wyschna moglam sobie posprzatac na biurku:). Szczegolami dotyczacymi tego wpisu podzielilam sie na blogu 3rd Eye.

I hope this weekend will involve more painting and messing around with colors- I really really missed it :) Have you been playing with medias recently? What did you make?:) I’m curious..

Happy Tuesday everyone!

It’s 10th of December and I think it’s seriously last minute to get on with Christmas cards if you haven’t prepared yours yet! My cards are ready to be written- now I need to find some time to make a mug of hot chocolate, sit down and prepare them to be psoted! Today I want to share with you 2 more cards made with beautiful line from Les Papiers de Pandore.

If you are looking for non traditional color palette for your winter projects you should definitely check these products! The color palette of Winter Memories papers is totally amazing and it made making these cards such a creative adventure! And glitter works beautiful with the papers making everything look frozen and really, really magical!

LIVE INSPIRED- 2 dreamy cards with Les Papiers de Pandore

Hello and welcome on Thursday!

Few weeks ago Julie from a small and cute French paper brand Les Papiers de Pandore asked me whether I would like to guest design with their products. I couldn’t say no as I’ve been watching the papers for a while and the new collections were just stunning! You know this kind of paper which is a little bit different, comes in unusual colors and actually scraps itself!

I started from some cards to warm myself up!

 

As you can see the papers are beautıful and the colors are just amazing! I missed this shade of purple in my scrap stash! I mixed the “Crochetin” line with some beautiful Prima flowers, feathers cut with silhouette, stamps from Citrus Twist Kits, some random embellishments and of course lots of watercolors and gesso and I ended up with 2 art journal style cards!

NOEL- clean and simple Christmas Card

Here is my second take on Prima’s 12 Days of Christmas Cards challenge- the card I made for day 9 focused on clean and simple cards.

 I was thinking I’m not such a paper flower girl but now I like them more and more on my cards! They really add this little something and make the project come together super quickly!

Christmas Cards with PRIMA!

Hello and happy Monday!

Do you know that Christmas is more and more visible in Istanbul? We went to a shopping center on Saturday and when we left it in the evening we were amazed by all the lights and decorations- YES! this special time of the year is right behind the corner!

And here is my card made for day 5- it’s a frugal card challenge which means card should be cheap and in total you can’t spend on it more than $5- well I’ve made 4 cards for this money and just have a look- they don’t look cheap at all!

The process of making and layering a card is super easy and once you start you can make many cards in a short time! I think it’s a plus in busy time before Christmas :) Below you can see my step by step photo instructions how to put card like this together!

Like I mentioned before- from the same elements you can make a little card collection. This way you use up your scraps and make mess just once :D
