Hello and welcome on Thursday!
Few weeks ago Julie from a small and cute French paper brand Les Papiers de Pandore asked me whether I would like to guest design with their products. I couldn’t say no as I’ve been watching the papers for a while and the new collections were just stunning! You know this kind of paper which is a little bit different, comes in unusual colors and actually scraps itself!
I started from some cards to warm myself up!
As you can see the papers are beautıful and the colors are just amazing! I missed this shade of purple in my scrap stash! I mixed the “Crochetin” line with some beautiful Prima flowers, feathers cut with silhouette, stamps from Citrus Twist Kits, some random embellishments and of course lots of watercolors and gesso and I ended up with 2 art journal style cards!
Here are some more detailed peeks:
In the upcoming weeks I’ll be sharing with you more inspirations and projects made with these wonderful lines- next one to show is Winter Memories line! Make sure to visit Les Papiers de Pandore blog– the Design Team there is amazing and they really rock papers and scisors in the most amazing style!
Here is my second take on Prima’s 12 Days of Christmas Cards challenge- the card I made for day 9 focused on clean and simple cards.
products: PRIMA MARKETING: 846442 Holiday Jubilee “Nostalgia” 12×12 paper , 846060 Special Delivery “Special Delivery” 12×12 paper, 543150 Prima Flowers, 570644-Prima Woodgrain Alphabet
I was thinking I’m not such a paper flower girl but now I like them more and more on my cards! They really add this little something and make the project come together super quickly!
How is your Christmas cards situation? I’m trying to deal with mine quickly and have them send off in few weeks! If you need some fun motivation for your cardmaking projects you are welcome to check our 12 Days of Christmas Cards series on Prima blog and play along!
Have a happy Monday!
Hello and happy Monday!
Do you know that Christmas is more and more visible in Istanbul? We went to a shopping center on Saturday and when we left it in the evening we were amazed by all the lights and decorations- YES! this special time of the year is right behind the corner!
To help you prepare for Christmas and inspire to make Christmas Cards PRIMA prepared a super fun series called 12 Days of Christmas Cards! Check details HERE and hopefully you will join us- every day there are PRIMA goodies waiting for lucky winners!:)
And here is my card made for day 5- it’s a frugal card challenge which means card should be cheap and in total you can’t spend on it more than $5- well I’ve made 4 cards for this money and just have a look- they don’t look cheap at all!
The process of making and layering a card is super easy and once you start you can make many cards in a short time! I think it’s a plus in busy time before Christmas :) Below you can see my step by step photo instructions how to put card like this together!
Like I mentioned before- from the same elements you can make a little card collection. This way you use up your scraps and make mess just once :D
If you feel inspired by Frugal Challenge and use some PRIMA products on your card make sure to submit it to the linking tool under this post to be entered to win some goodie pack!
Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day!
How are you, have you survived Monday? I’ll tell you that since I started working I find weekends too short- I wouldn’t mind one extra day to play catch up, rest and charge batteries, but hey, that’s life :) To sweeten up beginning of the week I have a little card with mix of happy products in sweet, pastel shades- all of them pulled from my September CTK kits!
September Citrus Twist Kits kits: “Magical” main kit, “Big Deal” embellie kit, “She Said” patterned paper kit and “Favorite” Pocket life kit; acrylic paints, pastels
After making this card a while ago I love including pocket and some cute tags on my card’s front page, I think it makes them totally different and more fun! This card we gave to our friend and I like it that both of us- me and my boyfriend- had space to write some wishes and happy thoughts!:)
So, I’m sending this sugary and artsy card to all of you to brighten up this new weekt! Have a good day:)
Hello and happy Monday everyone!
Today, for the beggining of the week I prepared something small and optimistic to share with you. Who doesn’t need some good energy on Monday morning, hands up:)
supplies: die cuts and papers: Lemon Owl, embellishments: Scrapbook Werkstatt, sequins, vellum cut files
Today’s card is made with Lemon Owl products which I grab every time when I need a little creative pick me up. The colors on these papers are pure happiness and I’m so happy that I get to work with them! The card includes a little foil pocket filled with colorful sequins and a little note paper where you can jot down few thoughts for some fun detail.
I wish you to start not only your day but entire week with a smile my friends! If you are searching for some more great inspiration Lemon Owl is a great and super positive blog to visit- I really love everything created by our DT and I’m always amazed when new post is up!
Hey my dears! I’m waving at you from the gorgeous south of Turkey where we are staying until end of this week! I would like to share today a quick project which I prepared using gorgeous papers from Lemon Owl! Soft tones and lovely details of these papers amaze me every time I reach for them:)
Lemon Owl papers, Citrus Twist Kits stamps, Two Peas in a Bucket cut files, vellum
I prepared this simple card a while ago for my friend who was celebrating her birthday. I simply layered some banners in different sizes and than added a sentiment and little stamps confetti here and there. I also had a tiny gift and I thought it would make it more special if I wrapped it nicely.
I prepared a little earring holder following the idea of my card- layered banners, stars and soft colors. It was a fun way to use up the scraps and I also could make my gift more personalized.
I’m sharing some more details of this fun gift wrap on Lemon Owl blog, so make sure to stop by:)
When I was in Poland (seriously, has it been a week since I came back??) I managed to go to my brother’s graduation. He became a master at wood technology and you should see the stuff he makes- it’s really impressive! Actually I think I will be able to show you his super creative idea for my 30×30 paper storage in Ikea’s Expedit unit which I managed to pack into the suitcase and take to Istanbul with me, but it’s another story! Today I want to show you a card made for his graduation, I used Citrus Twist Kit July kits as it was the only thing I had on hand at home:)
supplies: Citrus Twist Kits July kits: main Sail Away and embellie add on Go Girl; vellum, white cardstock
I had so much fun making this card, somehow everything worked great and July stamp set was an amazing match with the theme I had in mind! Visit Citrus Twist Kits blog to see more great examples of cards which our DT made with July kits!
