Travel Bug- layered layout

Hello and happy Friday everyone!

I have another older layout for you, but it doesn’t matter as it’s one of my most favorite layouts ever! It was also inspired by one of the Two Peas in a Bucket challenges- I always say, that there is nothing more inspiring than a good scrapbooking challenge!

When I said it’s one of my most favorite pages I really meant it- I like the sligthly masculine feel it gives, lots of white space and layered papers and embellishments. You know, I’m super busy these days and I try to simplify things as much as I can and in scrapbooking terms this page is a huge inspiration for me, it still has elements which I love but is just… simple. And simple is good!

 

What is your to go technique which always works and makes your pages look super pretty? I’m layering addict, that’s for sure! Hugs and enjoy your weekend!

 

hello london cupcake! layout with some memorabilias

Hello and happy Wednesday!

While I’m working on some new stuff (which is not that super easy as my vein has either melted in the heat which we’ve had here for last weeks or got lost between work, life and everyday stuff- you tell me;) I thought it’s a good time to share some unpublished layouts which I made for Two Peas in a Bucket CHA challenges.

The first page was prepared for memorabilia challenge which asked to include 3 real life elements on the layout. I grabbed my bag of brochures and papers brought from London and quickly decided to use some packaging elements from cupcakes which we had in Covent Garden. I loved the brochure design and I knew it would work well on the layout:

Do you sometimes include brochures and everyday findings into your projects? For me the challenge was a great reminder how much fun it is and how original the finished pages are! I really enjoyed creating this messy layout. It’s all about me- whatever you do, add a piece of yourself to it, try to be creative, stretch your brain, think of new ways in every aspect of life. Try, experiment, learn just for yourself :) You have entire week to create something and submit it to Chic Tags blog, don’t hesistate it’s a great way to look into yourself :) Also we will be taking a short summer break from the challenges, so it’s your last opportunity to play for a while!

Jak zwykle świetnie się bawiłam tworząc ten cały bałagan drobiazgów i detali na papierze. Tak naprawdę to wszystko o mnie- cokolwiek robisz, dodaj do tego kawałeczek siebie, staraj się myśleć twórczo, gimnastykuj mózg. Próbuj, eksperymentuj, ucz się dla siebie! Triangles! Chic Tags Sunday Challenge

Hi! Welcome on Monday! I have a new and fresh layout to share today- it’s all for Chic Tags, all for our new Sunday challenge which started yesterday so you still have a week to join us! This time Veronica challenged us to play with triangles, and once I started I couldn’t stop so I incorporated them in some fun ways into my page. You can see mini triangles cut from book pages, the big ones stitched on the paper and some arrows and banners which also incorporate triangle shape!

Hej, witajcie w poniedziałek!! Przygotowałam na dzisiaj nowego scrapa w całości poświęconego wyzwaniu do którego zapraszamy Was na blogu Chic Tags, które rozpoczęło się dopiero wczoraj, macie więc cały tydzień na zgłaszanie prac! Tym razem Veronica zaproponowała nam zabawę z trójkątami, jak już zaczęłam to nie mogłam skończyć stąd na mojej pracy kilka trójkątnych inspiracji- małe wycięłam ze starej książki, większe wyszyłam maszyną, a kilka z nich to takie umowne trójkąty- strzałki i wycięte chorągiewki z tytułem.

You Are My Wonderwall!

Hi! How are you, have you had a nice and creative weekend? I hope you did! I’m rushing to you to share a page I made with this week’s Chic Tags’ Sunday Challenge in my mind. We want to inspire you to use some song lyrics on your page. You can see that I went for “Wonderwall” by Oasis. I love this song and luckily it’s accepted as not-cheesy by my fiance ;) so I got a green light to use it!

Hey! It’s nice to be back at my desk after a happy summer weekend :) I hope for some fun and interesting things this week, but let’s see how the days are going to unfold:) For now I have a new layout made for this week’s Chic Tags challenge– we have all grabbed washi tape from our stash and played with it on our pages. I also used a Sketchbook365 sketch as a base of my LO’s composition.

Hej! Miło być tu z powrotem po odświeżającej weekendowej przerwie :) Mam parę fajnych planów na ten tydzień, ale zobaczmy co przyniosą kolejne dni… Na dobry początek praca przygotowana na wyzwanie Chic Tags– w tym tygodniu sięgamy po taśmy washi i używamy ich na scrapach, jak co tydzień na zwycięzcę wyzwania czeka bon do sklepiku Chic Tags :) Poza tym do przygotowania pracy użyłam mapki z bloga Sketchbook365, kolejne fajne i inspirujące miejsce, które lubię odwiedzać:)

I really like the mix of grey, red and neutral colors and this photograph from London was a perfect excuse to use these colors again!:) Don’t you think this tiny telephone box sticker is just adorable?:) Hugs and I’m leaving you with this ”keep calm and carry on” message- it’s a good one for Monday, right? :)

Hey! How are you? I hope you had a nice start into a new week! I feel full of good energy with all the sunshine, exercising, eating healthy food and playing with new goodies in my bright and happy scraproom. Last week I received a package full of new Wycinanka‘s chipboards and I couldn’t wait to use them in some projects! The first ocassion came together with new Art-Piaskownica’s challenge! This week we are playing with cross stitch and the checker chipboard really inspired me to do some embroidiery!

Hej, jak się macie! Mam nadzieję, że tydzień zaczął się dla Was przyjemnie- ja mam jakiś przypływ energii spowodowany ciepełkiem, ćwiczeniami, zdrowym jedzeniem i oczywiście zabawą z nowymi scrapowymi przydasiami! W zeszłym tygodniu dostałam paczuchę pełną nowości z Wycinanki i nie mogłam się doczekać użycia nowych tekturek. Pierwsza okazja nadarzyła się wraz z nowym wyzwaniem na art-piaskownicy! W tym tygodniu zachęcamy Was do zmierzenia się z haftem krzyżykowym, szachownica z Wycinanki była moim punktem wyjścia do haftowania!

Hej! Mam dzisiaj przygotowany kolejny post ze zdjęciami, wszystko za sprawą nowego wyzwania na art-piaskownicy! Piękny temat brzmi ”To co kocham”- to wspaniały sposób na zainspirowanie się do pstrykania zdjęć, czyż nie? Tyle możliwości interpretacji! Ja przygotowałam dla Was zdjęcie czynności, która skradła moje serce…

well I’m in love with running and being more active. It all started with change of attitude almost one year ago, than it continued with smaller and longer breaks but I was always coming back. I ran a race. I run more than ever and enjoy it totally, doesn’t matter that I’m really a slow couch, for me every another step really counts!

no tak, pokochałam bieganie i w ogóle bycie bardziej aktywną! Wszystko zaczęło się od małej zmiany nastawienia w ubiegłym roku, później toczyło się- z mniejszymi i większymi przerwami, ale zawsze wracałam do moich wydeptanych adidasów. Przebiegłam 5k w biegu grupowym. Teraz biegam więcej niż kiedykolwiek wcześniej i sprawia mi to dziką radość, każdy krok ma ogromne znaczenie!

I feel like all this running adventure helped me in so many ways. I love the little challenge which I set for myself. I love the fact that we have a great way to spend weekends together with my boyfriend. I love the excuse of shopping for pretty sport clothes. I love the feeling of getting stronger than ever. And of course I love the changes I can observe in my body and my spirit- I’m really pumped with endorfines and good energy!

Czuję, jakby bieganie pomogło mi uporać się z wieloma problemami. Uwielbiam wyzwania, które sobie stawiam. Uwielbiam to, że biegowe randki stały się kolejnym sposobem na spędzanie czasu z moim chłopakiem. Uwielbiam robić zakupy w sklepach sportowych- biegowe ciuchy są przepiękne! Uwielbiam uczucie bycia silniejszą niż kiedykolwiek wcześniej. No i rzecz jasna, wszystkie zmiany, które zachodzą w moim ciele i umyśle- chodzę napompowana endorfinami i dobrą energią!
