Warsaw- Happy HomeTown layout for Chic Tags

Hello and happy Wednesday!
Fınally I’m home! Oh I’m typing these words from my very own sofa, while drinking tea from my own mug and I love it! Travelling in the past few weeks was a great adventure and new experience but after all I’m a domestic person and I love spending time surrounded by the walls of our little home!
Today’s layout is also about home, to be specific about my home city no1- Warsaw! I finally got the opportunity to scrap a photo taken last June when I was working with new sketch from Chic Tags!

products: Chic Tags Happy Place collection; washi tape: Sticker Stop, Studio Callico wood veneers, Pebbles roller stamp, Basic Grey stickers, vellum

I’m falling in love with Chic Tags “Happy Place” over and over again and I could scrap with it any topic- it was a perfect line to make this little (A5 size) page about my home town! The tags are perfect, little embellishments to be layered and clustered which works great with big photos!

Sketch it out! Chic Tags challenge :)

I love a good sketch! As much as I love drawing them I love working with them- it’s a fun way to stretch your creativity and step out of comfort zone! This week’s sketch on Chic Tags blog was this kind of creative exercise for me- I had to think out of the box, after all not everyday I have to work with 12 circles on my layout! Here is my take on the sketch:

products: Chic Tags “Happy Place” collection: stamps, tags, rub-ons and clear tags; “School House” stamps and patterned paper; “Good Tidings”  stickers

As you can see I changed things a bit and in place of photos which I used to fill in the circles I had cut with my cameo I added embellishments. I love how dynamic the page ended up! Also such a fun way to use up some of the photos I might have slightly overprinted last year! Yeah, let’s use up old stash and move on!

December Memories 2013 week 1.

Hello, hello!

I have something cheerful and kept in holiday mood for you today! Here is my first project made for Chic Tags & Glitz swap! We worked with Glitz’s “Hello December” line and “Good Tidings” from Chic Tags- and you know what? They go together like bread and butter!

I’m not making a December Daily album this year- you know, time is an issue around here :( but instead I decided to incorporate December weeks into my Project Life! It helps me to stay on track and don’t panic that I can’t catch up with daily documenting! Here is my spread of first week of December:

Project Life- autumn weekends

Hello and happy Monday!

It’s been a while since I shared some of my Project Life pages. I love this album and try to work on it whenever I find some spare time (which isn’t easy these days!) and recently I managed to catch up! Here is one of my autumn spreads- I wanted to document some kind of our weekend routine this season.

I have a lovely look through summer and fall in this book and all the important things which happen in our life are set in order and highlighted- I know this album will be a treasure to keep for years!

oh Deer art- Chic Tags Sunday Sketch

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone!

Have you started decorating for Christmas yet? Our home turned into little Christmas wonderland last weekend- we didn’t dress the tree yet but had so much fun pulling our decorations (and advent calendar!) and placing them around the corners! We are big on handmade stuff in here and today’s layout is about making one of my favorite pieces for our home!

CT sketch 1Dec Kasia

To create this page I used a mix of Chic Tags products plus few extra embellies from my stash:) Funny story to share- as the page is about Fab’s dear nail art I finished it up and before leaving to work I told him to add some journaling. When I came home I stumbled upon a page with quite a … chunk on text on it:) First I was surprised as I imagined something totally different in my head but than I thought it’s actually pretty rad and unique :D It’s fun to let others journal on your layouts- I’m learning to loose a bit of controle hihi :)

It’s OK Not To Be Perfect- layout for Chic Tags

Hello there!

I told you a while ago that my crazy for glitter has started recently and today I have a little proof of that :) The layout I want to share is a little bit special (and it stands in visible place of my room now and I love seeing the message it gives!) because it pushed me to think more about balance in life. I was getting to some crazy point recently and had to stop and slow down to feel OK with myself. It wasn’t easy because I’m a perfectionist- I want everything to be done well, on time and with no problems, but my current lessons show that sometimes it’s OK not to be perfect and the World won’t end with it..

Seaside Walk with Chic Tags November kit

I had a pleasure to play with exclusive November kit from Chic Tags this month and oh boy I liked the products! Here is my layout using some photos from the trip to the sea last year and telling the little story about resting and swithcing off for a while :)

products: CHIC TAGS November kit, Happy Place papers and rub ons;  embellishments: American Crafts thickers, washi tape; Pebbles roller stamp; white acrylic paint, watercolors, crayons, pencil

What I loved about the kit was how nicely it coordinates with the main Chic Tags lines- I could work without worrying about matching shades and tones and just enjoyed creating my page :) There are more inspiring combination on our blog so make sure to have a look there too!

Fun Times – brown and gold layout with Chic Tags new products!

Hey there!

I always get excited on Fridays, they promise weekends, staying in, resting and creating… yes, I’m a domestic animal :) Sometimes I think  I could just stay in for my life time haha :) But.. there are some days, special occassions and events when going out is in order and well, these are the fun times too!

Fun Times Kasia Tomaszewska

paper: Chic Tags ” Happy Place“, Dear Lizzy polka dot vellum  embellishments and journaling cards: Chic Tags Exclusive October Kit, November Kit, Good Tidings tags and stickers; Citrus Twist Kit wood veneer stars; stamps: Pebbles roller stamp; other: paint, gesso, brown ink, sequins

Today’s layout presents a mix of Chic Tags papers and embellishments in shade of brown and gold. After making my last monochromatic layout I really wanted to repeat this trick (and after watching tons of metallic products for upcoming fashion trends at work I couldn’t resist gold too!) so here it comes- warm and sparkly page about fun times when the night out happens! Have a look at some detail shots:

What do you think about mixing one color with metalic and than playing with texture to finish off the layout? I think it might be a fun thing to try in the upcoming holiday season! And yes- that’s a big trend coming in fashion so it makes me wonder if it’ll start in our scrapbooking world too… let’s see!

Have a lovely weekend!

Love My Madhouse!

oh yes I do!

I don’t mind Mondays after weekend like last one:) We had some good time together, some good time alone and now I feel like the good energy is steaming through my ears! Seriously I don’t remember last time when I was free to do so much- happiness starts here- in our little home (which by the way is covered with foil right now and being painted with beautiful, bright colors!)

Today’s layout is also bright, happy and energetic! For my composition base I used the new sketch from Chic Tags blog– you have 2 weeks to enter the challenge if you wish! The products feature the new Chic Tags line Happy Place which is definitely my favorite among 3 new releases!

Hey Hey weekend Kasia Tomaszewska

paper and embellishments Chic Tags “Happy Place” and a bit of “School House“… and that’s it :)

I’m so in love with all the new products which Chic Tags has to offer! The selection is great and it was amazing to finally be able to cut into new papers and tags! I used the white base and black and white photograph  to let all the happy colors pop off the page, I layered some papers and tags and added stamps- yes! There are stamps in the line too! I’m one happy girl :)
