“our ABC – Kiss Me” mini album with Cat File Store

Hello! I’m stopping by today with a mini album- it’s tiny but loaded with love, friendship, kisses and gorgeous printables and cut files from Cat File Store. I had a pleasure to guest design for them in February and thanks to Mira I got to undust my cameo between travels and other busy day to day issues! Seriously, it was so much fun to work on this little babe, just have a look how much charm printables and cut files add to simple, black and white photos and some basic papers!
Wpadam dzisiaj z albumowym maluchem- niech Was jednak nie zwioda pozory, maly jest, ale za to po brzegi wyladowany miloscia, buziakami i oczywiscie cudnymi printablami i wycinankami z Cat File Store, dla ktorego z wielka przyjemnoscia goscinnie projektowalam w lutym. Dzieki Mirze udalo mi sie odkurzyc moja cameo i pomiedzy wyjazdami i codziennymi sprawami skleilam tego malucha. Serio, dawno tak dobrze nie bawilam sie przy scrapowaniu, no i sami spojrzcie ile uroku maja w sobie takie proste prace- kilka wycinanek, troche printabli, czarno-biale zdjecia i biala baza- da sie minimalistycznie? da sie :)

Happy Tuesday everyone!

It’s 10th of December and I think it’s seriously last minute to get on with Christmas cards if you haven’t prepared yours yet! My cards are ready to be written- now I need to find some time to make a mug of hot chocolate, sit down and prepare them to be psoted! LIVE INSPIRED- 2 dreamy cards with Les Papiers de Pandore

Hello and welcome on Thursday!

Few weeks ago Julie from a small and cute French paper brand Les Papiers de Pandore asked me whether I would like to guest design with their products. I couldn’t say no as I’ve been watching the papers for a while and the new collections were just stunning! You know this kind of paper which is a little bit different, comes in unusual colors and actually scraps itself!

I started from some cards to warm myself up!

 

As you can see the papers are beautıful and the colors are just amazing! I missed this shade of purple in my scrap stash! I mixed the “Crochetin” line with some beautiful Prima flowers, feathers cut with silhouette, stamps from Citrus Twist Kits, some random embellishments and of course lots of watercolors and gesso and I ended up with 2 art journal style cards!

No i nadszedł ostatni dzień wakacji w Polsce, oj brdzo ciężko wyjeżdżać, nie ma co… staram się szukać pozytywów, w końcu był to długo wyczekiwany wyjazd i starałam się z niego wycisnąć ile tylko mogłam! Dzisiejszy scrap- moja druga praca przygotowana w ramach gościnnych występów na blogu Stuck Sketches– jest właśnie o tym- wykorzystywaniu każdego nowego dnia jak najlepiej!

quick and easy card with Sunshine Love collection

Happy Friday! I’m stopping by today with my second work created for Studio 75 while I was guest designing there. The beautiful colors and patterns in Studio 75 “Sunshine Love’‘ collection quickly put me in creative mood and I put together this simple card on a whim!

Witajcie w piątek (to już??!)! Wpadam dzisiaj na maleńką chwilkę, aby pokazać drugą pracę przygotowaną dla Studio 75. Piękne kolory i wzory papierów z kolekcji Sunshine Love szybko wprawiły mnie w twórczy nastrój i w mgnieniu oka przygotowałam taką kartkę: 

I used papers from small paper pad and sun and cloud which I hand cut from this paper. I wanted to add something to brighten up my card so I cut some trendy rays from the yellow chevron paper and sewn them on piece of vellum with my sewing machine. I added some sequins for extra spark and adhered hand cut sun and cloud with 3d dots. And that’s it, summery and happy card done in 10 minutes!

Wykorzystałam tu papiery 15cmx15cm które świetnie spisują się przy tworzeniu kartek oraz papier z elementami do samodzielnego wycinania. Chciałam nieco rozjaśnić kartkę, dodałam więc promienie wycięte z papieru w żółte zygzaki i przyszyłam je na kawałku kalki technicznej. Dodałam kilka cekinów i przymocowałam wycięte słońce i chmurkę za pomocą kropeczek 3d. I już, kartka gotowa w niecałe 10 minut!

They are great for light, summer projects, the colors are great mix of bright and calm shades and patterns are so cool and trendy! They worked very well with medias, the sewing machine and Silhouette had no problems with them and all the papers mix and match so well together!

Guest Design for Give a Girl a Blog!

Hi! A while ago I was offered to guest design for lovely Kellie- the owner of Give a Girl a… stamps brand. You can check all her beautiful stamps here, also every month she releases new set of stamps, you can wait for release and order them or buy a subscription and receive every set released in a period of time when your subscription works. I worked with a gorgeous June set called Just for You!

Hej!Jakiś czas temu dostałam propozycję przygotowania gościnnych prac dla Kellie- autorki bloga Give a Girl a.. oraz projektantki świetnych akrylowych stempli. Kellie robi stemple takie jakie lubię- na każdą okazję! Jej piękne projekty znajdziecie tutaj, co miesiąc w sklepiku pojawiają się nowe stemple, które można zamawiać na bieżąco albo możecie skorzystać z opcji prenumeraty. Ja miałam przyjemność pracować z czerwcowymi zestawem o wdzięcznej nazwie Just for You:

I love the mix of handwritten sentiments and images in this set and decided to create a layout and a gift tag using them. The stamps stamp wonderfull and the details are really visible. I experimented with stamping on different papers like vellum and watercolor cardstock and it both worked perfectly! Here are the works I made:

Uwielbiam tę mieszankę odręcznego pisma i rysunków, i po chwili namysłu postanowiłam użyć moich nowych stempli do stworzenia scrapa i taga do prezentów. Powiem wam, że stempelki odbijają się super, wszystkie detale są naprawdę precyzyjne i dobrze widoczne , próbowałam stemplowania na kalce i papierze do akwareli i wszystko działało bez zarzutu! Poniżej możecie zobaczyć moje prace:

On this layout I wanted to make a good use of the sentiment stamps included in set and I decided to match them with the big picture of the 2 of us. The sky in the picture is a bit burned out so I thought it would be ok to cover it. I stamped Kellie’s stamps on some vellum, let the ink dry and than hand cut some clouds shapes which I attached to my page. They added fun dimension and a bit of whimsical look to the layout. Here are some details:

Na scrapie chciałam przede wszystkim wykorzystać stemple z napisami, których jest całe mnóstwo w zestawie. Zdecydowałam się połączyć je z dużym zdjęciem, na którym niestety niebo nie wyszło najlepiej postanowiłam więc zasłonić je stemplowymi odbitkami. Odbiłam napisy na kalce technicznej, pozwoliłam tuszowi dobrze wyschnąć a następnie odręcznie wycięłam małe chmurki, które przymocowałam do pracy. Scrap nabrał lekkości i przestrzenności, a jego charakter stał się bardziej kolorowy i zabawny, Poniżej detale:

Drugą pracą, którą przygotowałam z czerwcowymi stemplami jest poniższy tag:

To create this tag I started with jars- I loved them and as soon as I saw them I stamped them on some thick watercolor paper and painted with colorful paints. Once they dried I cut them out and placed on my tag. I added some labels to them which I also made using the stamps from the set and Prima’s Chalk Edger ink. I added a speech bubble with a sentiment and lots of fun splashes and stitches and I was done! The tag is really cute, just have a look:

Pracę nad tagiem zaczęłam od słoików- gdy tylko stemple wpadły w moje ręce odbiłam 2 słoiki na kawałku papieru do akwareli i pomalowałam je kolorowymi farbami. Gdy wyschły wycięłam je i umieściłam na tagu. Do słoików dodałam etykietki, które również znajdziecie w zestawie stempli, odbiłam je za pomocą tuszu Primy i wycięłam. Dodałam też dymkę z napisem odbitym stemplem, trochę przeszyć i kolorowych chlapań i gotowe! Sami spójrzcie jak słodki jest ten tag:

Guest Designing for CSI:Color, Stories, Inspiration

This month Citrus Twist Kits teamed up with a great place CSI:Color, Stories, Inspirations and is sponsoring some of the challenges over there. If you haven’t heard about CSI yet, you should check it- it’s really inspiring community, with some great and interesting challenges where you should mix color palette and some creative and journaling prompts. As a part of cooperation CTK designers were invited to play along with current challenges on CSI, so I grabbed my April kits: Happy Pursuits and PS. I Love You and created a layout for Case#67.

W tym miesiącu Citrus Twist Kit współpracuje ze świetną stroną wyzwaniową CSI:Color, Stories, Inspirations i sponsoruje nagrody w tym miejscu. Jeśli jeszcze nie słyszeliście o CSI, zachęcam do odwiedzin- znajdziecie tam wiele utalentowanych projektantek i strasznie miłą grupę scraperek z różnych zakątków świata, a przede wszystkim super inspirujące wyzwania. Dziewczyny bawią się w detektywów i przygotowują scrapy na bazie złożonej inspiracji- jest obrazek, paleta kolorów i trochę wskazówek dotyczących elementów pracy i journalingu. Świetna sprawa, dla początkujących i nie tylko! W ramach kwietniowej współpracy projektantki Citrus Twist Kits zostały zaproszone do gościnnego dołączenia do zespołu CSI, złapałam więc swoje kwietniowe kity i przygotowałam pracę do Case#67. 

I followed the provided sketch, color palette and used some prompts from evidence section: I added stars to my page, used pen, pencil and watercolor crayons, did some fussy cutting and composed my page on plain cardstock. From testimony section I choose to handwrite my journaling and write a random of facts about my topic. So much fun in one challenge! I’ll be definitely visiting CSI website more often, it’s a great inspiration source!

Kompozycję oparłam na mapce, wykorzystałam zaproponowaną paletę kolorów i wybrałam kilka elementów z sekcji evidence-dowody takich jak gwiazdki na scrapie, użycie długopisu, ołówka i kredek, trochę powycinałam i umieściłam całość na gładkiej bazie. Z części testimony- zeznanie, która dotyczy journalingu zrealizowałam punkty o odręcznym journalingu oraz zawarciu w nim luźnyh myśli na temat związany z tytułem pracy. Ile zabawy przy jednym wyzwaniu! Z pewnością nie jest to moje ostatnie spotkanie z CSI, to naprawdę mega inspirujące miejsce!

I don’t need to say that matching colors was easy-peasy with my gorgeous kits on hand, do I? Trina does amazing job in coordinating colors in her kits, you won’t find here dull, sad palettes- only the brightest, the prettiest, the most catchy colors make it through and I LOVE it!

Nie muszę mówić, że praca nad scrapem była bułką z masłem dzięki użyciu pięknie skoordynowanych dodatków i papierów z kwietniowych kitów CTK, prawda? Trina ma świetne oko do dobierania kolorów, nie znajdziecie w jej kitach smutaśnych papierów i szarzyzny, one wręcz tryskają kolorem i za to je uwielbiam!
