Easter cards

Just a quick note today because I seriously have a big, big issue with time these days… I don’t know when and how it passes, in the meantime- I enjoy myself so much :) it’s spring, I have good time with my parents and Easter is coming! I just want to show you 2 Easter cards I’ve made with Lemon Owl products a while ago :

 

They are cute and didn’t take much time to prepare.. you know it’s a shame to say but I haven’t made much more for this Easter.. well I focus on spending time with my family instead :) and it feels good!

Do you like travelling guys? I love going to new places and walking on the streets which I don’t know, tasting new food, watching people and snapping pictures- this is my travel style and although I was exhausted after many hours of shopping when I was visiting Italy from work last time I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t push for some time to enjoy the city! I have a bunch of photos from this trip which hasn’t been scrapped yet so here is a new layout inspired by Lemon Owl’s sketch and colors of streets in Rome!

Kochani czy lubicie podróże? Dla mnie to jedna z fajniejszych spraw- odwiedzanie nowych miejsc, spacerowanie małymi uliczkami, próbowanie nowych potraw i robienie zdjęć- to mój podróżniczy styl i mimo że będąc ostatnio w Rzymie po wielu godzinach zakupów i czasie spędzonym z szefami padałam na nos to i tak wykręcałam z siebie te ostatnie resztki energii żeby zobaczyć coś nowego, pójść na spacer i popstrykać fotki- nie byłabym sobą gdybym po prostu klapnęła w hotelu… Mam jeszcze troche zdjec z tego wyjazdu ktore czekaja na scrapy wiec dzisiaj jedno z nich- scrap wykonany wg mapki Lemon Owl i inspirowany kolorami rzymskiej ulicy :)

Italy in my SNAP! pocket scrapbooking album

After making my mini album from Italy I had soem leftover photos which I decided to put into my project life album. They were already printed and the colors worked great with Lemon Owl’s papers so I made these pages on a whim!
Po przygotowaniu mini albumiku ze zdjeciami z podrozy do Wloch zostalo mi kilka odbitek, ktore postanowilam wykorzystac do przygotowania stron w albumie project life. Kolory zdjec swietnie zgraly sie z papierami Lemon Owl wiec ponizsze strony powstaly w mgnieniu oka!

It’s a mix of photos taken with my camera nad instagram- I loved having them both with me to document some little things which happened during my trip!
Zdjecia to mix z aparatu i instagramu- strasznie ciesze sie, ze zabralam ze soba lustrzanke (mimo ze moje ramie mialo czasem jej serdecznie dosc) dzieki ktorej udalo mi sie uchwycic fajne momenty z wyjazdu!

It’s been a while since last project life share but now I’ve been working my way to catch up with the album- I love that I managed to make this process stress free and I’ll be sharing here my February soon:)
Mija juz dluzsza chwila odkad pokazywalam tu Project life- wiem, wiem :) ale powoli pracowalam nad albumem i udalo mi sie nadgonic wiekszosc zaleglosci, tak ze lada moment wrzuce strony z lutego. Nawet niw wiecie jak cieszy mnie praca nad tym albumem we wlasnym tempie, bez niepotrzebnego stresu i gonienia terminow!

Together Is Our Favorite Place to BE! color therapy from me!

I have some happy colors for you to start a week with today! I have so enough of winter and to brighten up my mood I picked the most cheerful among the papers I’ve received from Lemon Owl and created this page for our monthly challenge!

Na początek tygodnia serwuję porcję energetycznych kolorów! Mam po dziurki w nosie zimy i ponurych kolorów więc z mojego pudła z papierami Lemon Owl wybrałam te najbardziej landrynkowe i soczyste i zmajstrowałam tego scrapa na nasze comiesięczne wyzwanie! 

This month the inspiration comes from the words “Together is our favorite place to be”- such a beautiful quote isn’t it? I totally agree with it so making this page was a big joy as the words truly inspired me :)

W tym miesiącu punktem wyjścia do pracy są słowa “Together is our favorite place to be” (razem to nasze ulubione miejsce)- super cytat prawda? W pełni pokrywa się z tym co myślę i co tu dużo mówić mocno zainspirowały mnie te słowa więc i tworzenie scrapa sprawiło mega frajdę!

Oh boy I need colors a lot these days, you know I need some energy! I have no problem with waking up early BUT than I’m so sleepy at 10pm hahah you know  it’s not a perfect deal for someone who comes home from work at 8.30 LOL :) Anyway, keep your fingers crossed I’ll do better this week ;)

Jeszcze raz kolory, kolory, kolory- potrzebuję energii na pęczki! O ile nie mam problemuz  porannym wstawnaiem przed budzikiem to wieczory wychodzą mi pokracznie- o 10 mogłabym już słodko spać, nie jest to układ idealny jak się wraca z pracy do domu o 8.30 hahaha :) jakieś magiczne sztuczki? mam nadzieję, że w tym tygodniu lepiej się ogarnę, trzymajcie kciuki!

a little BREAK :)

It’s Thursday and as usual it’s my “weakest” day of the week :) Since high school times Thursdays have been the days that my energy was dropping- I can’t focus, I can’t stay awake and I just keep dreaming about another cup of coffee or… a little break :) But than Friday comes and with it the idea of weekend becomes super real so I don’t worry too much! Today’s page is all about perfect weekend break- I experimented with colours again and boy I love monochromatic scrapbooking pages!

Lemon Owl- winter days!

Hello!

Do you like winter, snow, sledging and snow fights? I do! I mean probably I DO because we have only few days of real winter in Istanbul, other than that it’s mostly rain and gloomy weather mixed with more sunny days and better weather:) But I really wanted to scrap some snowy photographs so I pulled some older ones from my stash- we took them 4 years ago in England (where snow was also a big and unexpected event haha). I mixed my pictures with beautiful “frozen” papers from Lemon Owl’s collections– I love how all the papers mix together and older collections work great with the brand new ones!

Here are some close ups. As you can see I couldn’t resist playing with some medias on my layout- I think it adds perfect artsy touch to any page! The layers of blue and white paints mixed with crayons and silver glittery pen remind me of ice and frozen landscape!

Do you know that this Friday we are hitting a “happy 5 years together” milestone with Fab? I don’t know when the time has passed by but when I look back at it I feel so grateful and appreciate for every little moment and decision which lead us where we are. The phrase which is this month’s challenge prompt on Lemon Owl’s blog made a great title for another little page simply about us…

The color palette of this layout made me think of Valentine’s Day but shhh….  :) Have you seen the new Lemon Owl papers in action? I looooove the distressed big chevron pattern! And as usual with Lemon Owl the lines mixes together so well so it wasn’t difficult at all to incorporate some older elements here and there!

Things to Remember- Fall Heather

Hello!

I’m so excited for November- we have had beautiful October full of sunshine and warm days and it doesn’t look like the weather will change soon- I love autumn like this! For next we planned the little renovation in our house and while my Fab was buying paint and other stuff in a building store he came across beautiful heather- he made me amazing surprise as it’s one of my favorite autumn plants and I miss it in Turkey a lot! Today’s scrapbooking layout is also about heather- the photographs are from last year trip to Poland and papers come from Lemon Owl!

Making this page about autumn but in not-so-autumn colors was really a refreshing experience. We always think about fall in yellow-orange-red-brown color combination and as much as I love these shades sometimes breaking the routine is good and inspiring! I added some more pop of color to the page by fun accents made with mixed acrylic paints- I really missed making my hands dirty! Is it time to dig out my art journal?

 

As it’s Friday morning in here I’ll make my way to the kitchen to brew some coffee and start this end of the week with a full speed!
