When it comes to finally making my spreads my main objective is to limit the mess and chaos to minimum. When I catch up with bigger amount of Project Life pages I often do it in between other projects so I don’t like having huge, difficult to clean mess after every PL session. That’s why rather than moving from spread to spread I tend to scrap from product to product. I go through all my pages and add to them paper, filling cards, embellishments, titles, stamps and journaling. How? Let me share with you!
Kiedy wreszcie moge sie zabrac za tworzenie moich stron do albumu Project Life moim glownym celem jest ograniczenie chaosu do minimum:) Czesto jest tak, ze wpisy do albumu powstaja pomiedzy innymi projektami zwlaszcza jesli mam sporo do nadrobienia, dlatego nie chce miec ogromnego balaganu na stole za kazdym razem gdy koncze ten projekt. Znalazlam na to sposob- zamiast scrapowac od strony do strony staram sie robic to od produktu do produktu. Za jednym zamachem dodaje papiery do wszystkich stron, potem uzupelniam karty do journalingu, dodaje wszystkie dekoracyjne elementy i tytuly a na koniec zostawiam sobie stemple i journaling. Ponizej mozecie podejrzec jak sie za to zabieram:)
I start from the papers. I look through my paper boxes and choose from them those which make me excited to work with, which match the colors of photos, the season or occassion. For Project Life I also like looking through my scraps stash and small, 6×6 paper pads. I pick papers which I would like to work with and then I quickly divide them by color. I usually end up with few groups in which papers work good together and I’ll be able to use them on my spreads without much thinking. I like to create a small pile of neutral papers with some kind of grid- they will work great as journaling spots!
Zaczynam od papierow. Lubie na poczatku przejrzec moje kartony z papierami i wybrac te, ktore albo wybitnie pasuja do zdjec i okazji albo podobaja mi sie tak bardzo, ze sprawiaja, iz po prostu chce mi sie scrapowac:) Do uzupelniania kieszonek w PL swietnie nadaja sie tez wszystkie scinki i male pady papierow 15×15 cm i z nich tez czesto wybieram wzory i kolory pasujace do moich wpisow. Gdy mam juz te swoja sterte papierow dziele je wg kolorow. Na koniec mam kilka grupek papierow, ktore fajnie do siebie pasuja i dobieranie co gra z czym nie zajmie mi juz zbyt wiele czasu. W czasie przegladania papierow zawsze zostawiam pod reka mala grupke neutralnych, jasnych papierow w linie i kratki, ktore posluza jako miejsce na zapiski.
I repeat previous step with my filling cards. You know, as my album is small I don’t use so many of the filling cards- I rather focus on photos and stories I want to share but sometimes an added card is a nice touch. As I already know which events I’ll be including in the album and my color scheme is set from papaers too, picking the cards is easy. I choose from ready cards and cut some from the 30×30 papers so they will be all ready to jump into the pockets.
Podobnie postepuje z ozdobnymi kartami do journalingu. Jako ze moj album jest niewielki nie uzywam zbyt wielu kart, raczej skupiam sie na zdjeciach i miejscach na zapiski, ale czasem lubie dodac karte tu i tam dla rozluznienia kompozycji albumu. Dobor kart jest latwy- wiem co bedzie na poszczegolnych stronach, wiem jakich papierow uzyje, pozostaje tylko przejrzec pudelko z kartami i papiery do pociecia i wybrac sposrod nich to co wyladuje w kieszonkach.
Next step- I make my final decisions about what goes where. I cut the paper and cards to the correct pocket’s size (I use a clever system which makes everything super easy and I’ll share it in the next post from this cycle!). I slide all the pieces in their pockets and move to another spread. At the end of this step I have all my pockets filled and honestly- I can hide my patterned papers away and move on to embellishments!
Pora na koncowa decyzje co znajdzie sie gdzie w albumie. Przycinam papiery i karty do rozmiarow kieszonek (jak rozgryzlam na to swoj sposob? Dowiecie sie nastepnym razem), wsuwam wszystko na swoje miejsce i zajmuje sie kolejnymi stronami. Szczerze mowiac w tym momencie moge tez spokojnie posprzatac papiery ze stolu, bo nie beda mi juz potrzebne, pora wyciagnac ozdoby i dodatki!
Now, embellishing is my favorite part! I love using different labels, pieces of washi tape, stickers, alphabets, brads and cut outs from my cameo. Sometimes I also throw in the real life memorabilias like tickets, pieces of brochures, maps or business cards. I choose my favorite bits and pieces and decorate the cards, at this time I also attach the photos to the cards with doıble sided tape and add the titles.
Przyznam sie, ze dodawanie wszystkich kolorowych drobiazgow jest moja ulubiona i najbardziej czasochlonna czescia pracy nad albumem. Wyciagam naklejki, kropki samoprzylepne, alfabety, cwieki, wycinanki z cameo i cala reszte roznosci pochowanych w koszyczkach, czasem dodaje pamiatki takie jak bilety, kawalki ulotek, mapy czy wizytowki i ozdabiam swoje karty! Uwielbiam to! Jest to rowniez czesc procesu podczas ktorej przyklejam zdjecia- najlatwiej mi to robic za pomoca dwustronnej tasmy klejacej.
The last thing I do to decorate my cards is adding some stamps and journaling. I have my most favorite stamp sets on hand and I usually go for black ink and tiny stamps with different quotes and sayings. I also constantly find myself using the date stamp. Finally I add journaling to my cards- I do it most of the time by hand or using the typewriter.
Na sam koniec zostawiam sobie stemple i journaling. Prawda jest taka, ze mam kilka zestawow stempli, ktore uwielbiam i zawsze trzymam pod reka- sa to malenkie napisy z Citrus Twist Kits, ktore polaczone z czarnym tuszem swietnie wygladaja w albumie! Poza tym nie rozstaje sie z datownikiem! Na koniec dodaje journaling- kilka slow napisanych odrecznie albo na maszynie do pisania- i gotowe!
What I love about this system is that it really saves me cleaning and deciding time. At once my desk is covered with just one kind of goodies and it’s easier to pick what from them I’d like to use. I think the process goes much faster this way for me and I can move through each block at one evening. I have some more little tricks about how to simplify and spped up the things and I will share them with you in part3 of this series!
Za co uwielbiam ten sposob nadrabiania zaleglosci w albumie Project Life? Przede wszystkim oszczedza mi czasu normalnie straconego na sprzatanie i… decydowanie. Za kazdym razem mam na biurku tylko jeden typ balaganu, ktory jest w miare latwy do ogarniecia, a jak juz cos wybiore to przy tym zostaje. Scrapowanie idzie mi szybko i sprawnie i moge skonczyc jeden “blok” pracy w jeden wieczor co jest naprawde motywujace :) Na koniec zostawilam kilka fajnych i sprawdzonych trikow, ktorymi zamierzam podzielic sie w 3 czesci tej serii!
Hello! Let’s change a story a bit this Friday and come back to the past- I digged this old photograph of us and combined it with some pretty and warm Prima products for this month- very Christmassy- Prima Products Pick!
The page is built on Prima’s Holiday Jubilee collection and as usual you can find here some layers, tiny touch of gesso and my favorite huge Prima’s alpha! I added glitter and some gold accents with my sewing machine to make this layout touch more festive!
Maybe this month’s Prima’s moodboard will inspire you too to create something festive and christmassy- fun challenge to play with this weekend!

Have you started decorating for Christmas yet? Our home turned into little Christmas wonderland last weekend- we didn’t dress the tree yet but had so much fun pulling our decorations (and advent calendar!) and placing them around the corners! We are big on handmade stuff in here and today’s layout is about making one of my favorite pieces for our home!
To create this page I used a mix of Chic Tags products plus few extra embellies from my stash:) Funny story to share- as the page is about Fab’s dear nail art I finished it up and before leaving to work I told him to add some journaling. When I came home I stumbled upon a page with quite a … chunk on text on it:) First I was surprised as I imagined something totally different in my head but than I thought it’s actually pretty rad and unique :D It’s fun to let others journal on your layouts- I’m learning to loose a bit of controle hihi :)

Maybe some of you remember when back in June I mentioned that I’m going to start working on my own, small version of Project Life inspired album? Well, it’s been a while and my album fills up with memories- on its own pace, without a rush- I like this relaxed approach :) Today I would like to share with you some pages which document our holiday in Poland last month!
I was waiting a bit with publishing these pages as they made their debut on Chic Tags blog last Saturday. In my post over there you will find lots of detailed explanation why I picked this size and format and how I’m working on it, so if you are curious you are welcome to read! To create these spreads I used some Chic Tags products as well as mix of items from previous Citrus Twist Kits and some old elements from my own stash. I think this was the big part of fun while working on my pages- I felt limitless while picking products:) Below you can see some of the close ups:
I’m not aiming to capture everything in this album but I love seeing things in chronological order and let’s be honest, filling up these little pockets is actually lots of fun! I will be working on some August pages later this week, so I hope I will have something new to share soon! Have a great day!
Let’s finish this week with some summery creations, shall we? I have a card and mini album prepared on Studio75 ”Sunshine Love” line where I was invited as a guest a while ago. It’s been a while since I showed a mini here, so let’s start with it! When I received the package with gorgeous Studio 75 ”Sunshine Love” collection I knew that it would be perfect to use with photographs from my birthday picnic which happened last summer. I love these pictures and it was difficult to pick just one to make a layout so I decided to make a mini album with more of them and the ”Sunshine Love” papers were great for this! Już jakiś czas temu, w ramach gościnnego projektowania, przygotowałam kartkę i album z cudnej, wakacyjnej kolekcji Studio 75 ”Sunshine Love” . Zacznę dziś od albumiku, a na kartkę zapraszam jutro! Gdy tylko w moje ręce wpadły papiery i dodatki z pięknej, letniej kolekcji Studio75 ”Sunshine Love” wiedziałam, że będę chciała wykorzystać je wspólnie ze zdjęciami z mojego zeszłorocznego urodzinowego pikniku. Hey everyone! Another Friday and weekend ahead! I love weekends in summer the most, especially these which we can spend in good company, preferably by the water! It’s like a mini holiday! With today’s album my mind goes back to lovely time which we spent 2 years ago on the beach next to my Fab’s parents house ;) I made this mini book with my beloved Citrus Twist Kits June kits- I used mostly main kit BOARDWALK and embellie add on FERRIS WHEEL, but you will also see here and there pieces from other kits. I love how the kits helped me to dress up these special photos! Ok, many pictures are coming!

Znowu piątek (za tydzień lecim do Polski, huuurrraaa!), weekend czeka za rogiem a letnie weekendy są najfajniejsze- zwłaszcza te spędzone w doborowym towarzystwie, najlepiej gdzieś w okolichach wody! To prawie jak mini wakacje! A jak już jesteśmy w temacie wakacji- dzisiejszy album przenosi mnie z powrotem do wakacji 2 lata temu, które spędziliśmy nad morzem niedaleko domu rodziców mojego Faba! Fajnie mieć ”teściów” w tropikach;) Do albumiku wykorzystałam głównie 2 czerwcowe kity Citrus Twist Kit– główny kit BOARDWALK i zestaw dodatków FERRIS WHEEL, ale znajdziecie tu również kilka drobiazgów z innych kitów. Uwielbiam jak te zestawy pięknie zgrały się z wakacyjnymi zdjęciami! Ok, czas na zdjęcia!
