Workspace Wednesday

Hello and happy Workspace Wednesday!

My desk is covered with beautiful new products which I received last weekend from Chic Tags! Among them I’ve found the new exclusive November kit which you can still purchase in Chic Tags store! It includes some tags, journaling cards, badges and exclusive design stamps. I separated my kit into small bowls so I can always see the cute embellishments and create something new with them- this is the plan for the weekend

That’s my space today! I’m happy in this creative mess and I missed it a lot! I keep making, making, making and it makes me so grateful for this fun hobby all over again!

DIY- Embroidery Hoop Wall Art

We are in really holiday mood here- week off from work means spending time together, enjoying our home, delicious coffee, lazy mornings.. it’s like weekend all over again and again! I’m also super happy to scrap a lot- in daylight, with lots of new stuff, I’m preparing content of my first class ever and it’s super fun! We also work on some DIY for the home- as I planned a while back :) Sticking to this topic I would like to share with you my first project made few weeks ago- DIY embroidery hoop scrapbooking layout!

If you would like to see a step by step tutorial for this project please hop on to Chic Tags blog! I used some recycled items and lots of fun tags and labels from Chic Tags! This project is fun and so simple to make, It has so many textures and you can totally customize it to your taste!

Workspace Wednesday

Another week, another Workspace Wednesday post! After enjoying it so much the week before I couldn’t wait to snap photos of my desk again- especially that last night I received super exciting package full of gorgeous goodies from Citrus Twist Kits store and their October kits! I managed to unpack them and photograph few little sneaks- the full reveal is coming this Saturday!

Hello and happy Wednesday!

I have something different for today, well I miss my camera badly and I miss my scrap space even more but life feels so busy right now! I was looking at gorgeous photos which Marcy and Stephanie have been sharing for last few weeks and I felt motivated to snap some photographs of my desk this morning! Here are the details of stuff I’ve been working on and my beloved washi tapes :)

here & now AUGUST

This last few weeks have been divided between working from home (yes, they were my last weeks of working from home as since from Monday my routine has totally changed and I’m experiencing something totally new- regular job! I will tell you about it more soon, for now let’s say… it’s a regular job in totally irregular place,  creative and interesting with so much to learn, but let’s be honest so far hard on me…) and holiday. I loved both- I totally enjoyed everyday of my old routine- creating, photographing, writing and taking care of everyday stuff, baking bread, enjoying long mornings and lots of freedom while at home and than resting and charging batteries in Fab’s company on holiday! Let’s see ıf I manage to adjust to new stuff now…

These days JULY- holiday snapshots

My holiday has officially finished and I’m back to Istanbul. I have never before been away from here for so long- this time it was almost a month, normally I escape for a week or two every now and then. But this month felt so good! It was great to stay with my family and see them everyday. It was great to spend time with some friends, catch up after many months and know that we still have a flow together.  It was great to eat raspberries, blue berries, cottage cheese and bacon as often as I wanted. It was great to go for shorter and longer runs in my neighbourhood. It was great to see Warsaw changing so quickly, it’s such a dynamic city. It was also good to realize that some things come to an end with time and leaving them behind makes new beginnings possible and more exciting. So I’m back in Istanbul now, looking through photos from Poland, running through fresh memories, planning new projects, making sure to remember the best from this amazing month!

Moje wakacje już oficjalnie dobiegły końca, jestem z powrotem w Stambule. Nigdy wcześniej nie wyjechałam stąd na tak długo- tym razem nie było mnie prawie miesiąc, na ogół udaje mi się uciec na tydzień, dwa raz na jakiś czas. I ten miniony miesiąc był niesamowity! Super było być tak blisko rodziny, mijać się codziennie, oglądać razem stare seriale i siedzieć wspólnie przy stole. Super było spotkać starych przyjaciół, nie przelotnie i na chwilę, ale na wystarczająco długo aby jeszcze raz upewnić się, że tematów do rozmów nie brakuje i już chyba nie zabraknie. Super było objadać się malinami, jagodami, białym serem i bekonem kiedy tylko chciałam. Super było wyprawiać się na krótsze i dłuższe biegi po okolicy. Super było zobaczyć Warszawę tak dynamiczną, piękną, letnią, zieloną i zmieniającą się. Super było też zrozumieć, że z czasem pewne rzeczy mijają i zostawienie ich za sobą zostawia otwarte drzwi dla nowych możliwości i początków. Jestem z powrotem w Stambule, przeglądam zdjęcia z Polski, w głowie migają mi jeszcze świeże wspomnienia, planuję nowe projekty, tak aby na pewno uwiecznić jak najwięcej z tego miesiąca wakacji. 

These Days MAY

 

 

 

May has passed on a whim. We were away for 11 days and than enjoying coming back to our routine in the second part of the month. London, Tunbridge Wells and Brighton spoiled as with weather, meeting friends, walking, shopping, discovering- it was a good time, like breathing fresh air and charging batteries. Than Istanbul welcomed us with summer, lots of fruit and veggies in the local markets and it feels great to be back at home, in my scraproom and on the balcony! May is definitely a happy month:)

Maj przeleciał ekspresem. Nie było nas przez 11 dni, a potem wpadliśmy w codzienną przyjemność w drugiej połowie miesiąca. Londyn, Tunbridge Wells i Broghton rozpieszczały nas pogodą, spotkaniami z przyjaciółmi, spacerami, zakupami, odkrywaniem nowych miejsc- to był wspaniały czas, coś jak oddychanie świeżym powietrzem i ładowanie się pozytywną energią! Powrót do Istambułu uprzyjemniła piękna pogoda, mnóstwo warzyw i owoców z lokalnych bazarków i dobrze jest być z powrotem w domu, w moim scraproomie, na balkonie… maj to zdecydowanie fajny miesiąc!

April days…

April is already wrapping up and I’m packing my suitcase- tomorrow we will go to London! I loved last month, I enjoyed healthier lifestyle- balanced cooking, baking my own bread, fresh veggies and fruit and of course running and exercising more, I spent so many hours at my desk and I feel like my scrapbooking style has changed a bit in these past weeks (you will see soon!)… such a beautiful and truly amazing month!

Kwiecień już niemal za nami, a ja pakuję walizki- jutro lecimy do Londynu! Miniony miesiąc był dla mnie niesamowity! Zdrowszy styl życia- zbalansowana dieta, pieczenie domowego chleba, świeże warzywa i owoce, dużo wody, biegania i ćwiczeń wpłynęły genialnie na moje samopoczucie! Spędziłam sporo godzin przy biurku i widzę po tych ostatnich pracach, że mój scrapowy styl nieco się zmienia (sami zobaczycie niebawem!).. był to cudowny miesiąc!
